Leather Kilts
Leather kilts take the traditional silhouette into a different material entirely. Genuine leather panels, a pleated back that holds its line, heavy buckles and hardware built to carry the weight of the hide. They are substantial garments and they wear like it, softening and darkening with use rather than wearing out. Popular for gigs, festivals, alternative dress and anyone who wants the shape without the tartan. Available in black and brown, cut to your own waist, hip and length rather than sized off a rail. Hide thickness varies across the range and it changes how the kilt behaves. Heavier leather hangs straighter and swings slowly, which is the look most buyers want. Lighter hide moves more freely and is easier to wear for a full day. Pleats are formed rather than pressed, since leather holds shape by memory, so they will not fall out over time but cannot be reshaped at home either. Hang it rather than folding.
