Grunge Plaid Skirts

The reference length sits mid thigh, worn with opaque or ripped tights rather than bare legs. Setts drawn from flannel shirt checks read closer to the ninety nineties source than formal clan tartan does, so deep reds, forest greens, navy and charcoal all work. The drape should be relaxed rather than crisp, which is a construction choice rather than a sign that anything about the skirt is poorly made.
