I've had my Masonic tartan kilt for a couple of years now, and enjoy wearing it very much! The fit is perfect, and the lightness of the material work great in our southwest Louisiana climate!

I would like to say something positive, but I cannot. I measured my son 3 times for "the perfect fit." I went by your recommendations for fitting. I thought the sizing was off, but continued by your instructions. The kilt is about 3 inches too big, on the buckles tightest settings. It cannot be worn, as it slips right off of him. It is unwearable as is. I am very disappointed, as we were just in Scotland in October, my son is half Scottish, and was very excited that we purchased this for him, but quite disappointed that he cannot wear it. I am trying to find a tailor that can help me, so far no luck.

The kilt and sash in Montgomery plaid, arrived from Pakistan with courteous updates and great customer service.
Sadly the odor of chemicals when opened the package made me ill within an hour. Headache and nausea - I was afraid to wash the fabric, and the dry cleaner did not want to take it. It seemed “stiff” with impregnated “something”.
As I am allergic to chemicals, I am trying to get a refund.
Have noted the USA return address on the east coast, also called the number connected to it and actually spoke with a live person - who responded to my email.
My case is being reviewed - but as I cannot give these away or wear them myself, I will be sending them the east coast return address within a week, so that the odor can be experienced first hand.
I am disappointed - and saddened to write this. I note that others have had a similar experience.
If using a chemical is standard to prevent damage to the fabric - i suggest the manufacturer stops this - it is not acceptable and very very unpleasant.
Sincerely and sorry to feel I need to write this review.

Ordered several weeks ago and haven’t heard anything about progress. No response to my inquiries. I’m hoping the company is legit and I haven’t made a huge mistake ordering from them.
What is the Difference between Tartan Ties & Cravats?
Tartan ties and cravats both add a touch of heritage and elegance to outfits but differ in style and usage. A tartan tie is a long, narrow piece of fabric worn around the neck and typically tied in a knot, making it a popular choice for formal and semi-formal occasions. Cravats, on the other hand, are wider and shorter, often worn loosely or tucked into a shirt, offering a more vintage and sophisticated look. While tartan ties are more structured and traditional, cravats lend a softer, more relaxed aesthetic to formal attire. Both reflect timeless Scottish style
What does a Tartan cravat symbolize?
A tartan cravat symbolizes a deep connection to Scottish heritage, culture, and identity. Traditionally, tartans represent specific clans, families, or regions in Scotland, and wearing a tartan cravat serves as a tribute to one's lineage or a celebration of Scottish traditions. It is often worn at formal events like weddings or cultural gatherings, adding a touch of elegance and pride to the attire. The cravat, with its distinctive pattern, becomes a personal statement of history, loyalty, and honor, symbolizing a timeless bond with Scotland's rich and storied past.
Can tartan ties be worn for formal occasions?
Tartan ties can indeed be worn for formal occasions, adding a touch of individuality and tradition to any formal outfit. With their rich history and association with Scottish heritage, tartan ties offer a stylish yet sophisticated option for events such as weddings, formal dinners, or corporate functions. Pairing a tartan tie with a classic suit provides a subtle way to introduce color and pattern while maintaining a polished look. Choosing a refined tartan pattern in muted tones can further enhance its suitability for formal settings, blending tradition with modern elegance.
Can tartan ties and cravats be worn with any shirt?
Tartan ties and cravats can be worn with a variety of shirts, but the key is to ensure a harmonious balance between the patterns and colors. When pairing tartan with a shirt, it's best to choose a solid-colored or subtle patterned shirt that complements the tartan design. A white or light-colored shirt typically works well, allowing the tartan's bold patterns to stand out. Avoid pairing tartan ties or cravats with heavily patterned shirts, as this can create a cluttered appearance. Ultimately, with thoughtful styling, tartan accessories can elevate both casual and formal looks effectively.
How do I care for my Tartan Ties & Cravats?
Caring for your Tartan ties and cravats ensures they stay vibrant and maintain their quality for years to come. Always store them in a cool, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight to prevent fading. Gently hand wash or spot clean with mild detergent, avoiding machine washing to preserve the fabric’s integrity. After cleaning, allow them to air dry naturally, ensuring they are laid flat to avoid wrinkles. When ironing, use a low heat setting and place a cloth between the tie or cravat and the iron to protect the fabric. Regular care keeps them looking sharp and stylish.
