A made-to-measure three-piece in 5,000+ tartans. Measure each piece in turn — jacket, waistcoat and trousers — with a soft tape and a helper.

Ask a helperStraighter, truer numbers than measuring solo.
Measure your bodyBrand/label sizes vary — trust the tape.

Jacket

    Chest

    Around the widest part of the chest, level across front and back.

  2. E

    Waist

    Around the natural waist, tape straight front and back.

  3. C

    Sleeve Length

    From the shoulder top down the outside of the arm to the wrist.

  4. Jacket Length Nape–hem

    From the collar seam down to the jacket's bottom hem.

  5. Shoulder to Shoulder

    Across the back from one shoulder point to the other.

Waistcoat

  1. D

    Chest

    Around the broadest part of the chest, straight front and back.

  2. E

    Waist

    Around the waistline, tape straight front and back.

Trousers

    Waist

    At the height you want the waistband, tension to taste.

  2. F

    Hips / Seat

    Around the widest part of the seat, level all round.

  3. H

    Inside Leg

    From the crotch to the bottom of the trouser hem.

  4. G

    Outside Leg

    From the trouser waist down the outer leg to the hem.

Height (B) — add your full height so the proportions balance across all three pieces.
