Schedule a Future Send · Up to 12 months ahead
Buy it tonight. It arrives on the morning itself.
The gift you remember at 11pm in March can still land on a birthday in September. Pick any date up to a year out, the gift card is emailed to them on that morning, with your message, as if you'd planned it all along. (You did.)
The Scottish gifting calendar
Dates worth scheduling for, set them once, all year
The Scottish year has more gifting moments than most calendars. Schedule each one now and let the year run itself. Each card also links the matching seasonal collection, so the recipient lands somewhere relevant.
Burns Night
The biggest formal night of the Highland year. A card scheduled for early January leaves time to order a formal kilt for the supper itself.
Burns Night collection →National Tartan Day
The Scottish-American holiday, parades, pipe bands, and the perfect excuse for a first kilt in the family tartan.
Tartan Day collection →Mother's & Father's Day
Schedule both in one sitting in January. Tartan for her, a kilt for him, sorted five months early.
Father's Day →St Andrew's Day
Scotland's national day, and close enough to Christmas that a scheduled card doubles as an early festive opener.
St Andrew's Day →Christmas Morning
Scheduled for 8am on the 25th, it's the one gift guaranteed not to be stuck in a sorting facility.
Christmas tartan →Hogmanay
See in the new year the Scottish way. A card at Hogmanay funds the outfit for every event in the year ahead.
Hogmanay collection →Birthdays & Anniversaries
The classic use: schedule in a moment of thoughtfulness, deliver on the day itself. Anniversary tartan is a genre of its own.
Anniversary gifts →Wedding Mornings
A card timed for the morning of the wedding, or, smarter, 8+ weeks before, so the outfit can be made in time.
Wedding outfits →Timing it for an event
Working backwards from the big day
If the gift card is meant to fund an outfit for a specific event, a wedding, a Burns supper, Highland games, schedule the send early enough for the piece to be made. Every Scottish Kilt order is custom-made, not pulled off a shelf.
Safest window for any tartan, including rare made-to-weave patterns.
Rare tartans are woven to order: 4–6 weeks. The Tartan Finder shows what's in Quick Ship stock.
700+ in-stock tartans are cut, hand-pleated, and shipped in 1–3 weeks, measurements via the measuring guide.
Every order carries the 30-day fit guarantee, alterations or remake if anything's off.

Scheduled delivery FAQ
How far ahead can I schedule?
Any date from tomorrow to 12 months ahead. You pay now; the email sends automatically on the morning of your chosen date in the recipient's local time.
Can I edit the date or message after buying?
Yes, any time before the send date. Contact support with your order number to change the date, message, or recipient email.
Will they get any hint before the date?
No. The recipient receives nothing until the scheduled morning. Only you get the order confirmation, and you'll get a reminder the day before it sends.
What if I got the recipient's email wrong?
If the card hasn't sent yet, update it via support. If it has sent to a wrong address, contact us immediately, unredeemed cards can be voided and reissued to the correct email.
Can a scheduled card be a custom amount, or come from a group?
Both. Scheduled sends support all preset values and custom amounts from $25 to $2,500, and a Group Gift Pool can close onto a scheduled delivery date so the whole family's gift lands on the morning itself.
