Kilt Size & Measurement Guide

To find your kilt size, measure your waist where you want the top of the kilt to sit without holding in your stomach. This measurement is usually about 2 inches larger than your pants size. For length, measure from the top of your waist down to the floor while kneeling.

Below is the rewritten content along with a clearly organized sizing table for different kilt types and sizes.

How to Measure Your Waist

Use a measuring tape and wrap it around your waist at the point where you want the kilt to sit. Do not suck in your stomach. This measurement is usually 2 inches larger than your pants size. You may want to add around an extra inch for comfort. Use your actual waist measurement in inches (not your pants size).

Important: Custom-made garments cannot be returned or exchanged, so measure carefully!

How to Measure Your Kilt Length

While kneeling, measure from the top of your waist (where the kilt will sit) straight down to the floor. Many say the kilt should just touch the ground when kneeling, but personal preference is key.

Note: The Ultimate Commando kilt tends to sit higher on the waist than other models, so consider adding 1–2 inches to the length for these styles. If unsure, the standard length of 22.5 inches fits most men well.
