The Black Isle District Tartan is deeply rooted in the heritage of the Black Isle, a stunning peninsula in the Scottish Highlands, nestled between Ross and Cromarty, northwest of Inverness. Despite its name, the Black Isle is not an island but a land rich in history, natural beauty, and wildlife. Designed by William J. Watson in the early 1900s, this tartan captures the essence of the region’s fertile land, surrounding seas, and rugged hills. The design is also connected to the proud Munro clan, a powerful and ancient Scottish family known for their military skill and unwavering loyalty to the crown. The tartan's colors reflect the clan's motto, "Dread God," symbolizing strength, power, and a deep sense of community.

All our delivery costs are calculated on total weight, this includes the weight of both the products and the packaging.

Custom Weave tartans are woven to order, the tartan weaving process taking approximately 4-5 weeks.

All returns must be sent back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk.
Only defected items will be entertained for exchange.

The contents of your order and your delivery postcode will determine which delivery services you will be offered.

Who do we use to deliver your order?
Our back office systems are fully integrated with DHL and FEDEX which means that the second your parcel is dispatched you will be sent an email containing your tracking details. this allows both you and us to track your parcel's every move from our door to yours!
