Historical Context
The Police College Tulliallan Tartan was designed to honor the Police Scotland College at Tulliallan, which has served as the heart of police training in Scotland since 1954. Housed in Tulliallan Castle, located in Kincardine, this institution has become a symbol of discipline, honor, and service. Although not linked to any traditional Scottish clan, the tartan embodies the values of integrity and courage upheld by Scotland's law enforcement. With the motto “Semper Vigilo,” meaning “Always Vigilant,” this tartan pays tribute to the dedication of those who protect and serve the nation.
