Historical Significance
The Innes Clan, rooted in Moray, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to around the year 1217. The clan's significance was solidified when Malcolm IV granted a charter in Innes for Berowald in 1160, establishing the name that would be carried on by his descendants. Tartan patterns have long been a symbol of Scottish heritage, representing not only clan allegiance but also regional identity. The Innes Muted Tartan stands as a testament to this legacy, embodying the family’s style and history while being associated with various notable figures throughout Scottish history.
