The clan's motto, "Audacter Et Strenue," translates to "Boldly and readily." In 1979, Rhys Pollock collaborated with J.C. Thomson to design the original Pollock Tartan, which was then produced by D.C. Dalgliesh Ltd. and registered with the Scottish Tartan Society. Over time, various mills have crafted the Pollock Tartan, leading to minor variations in its weave. Despite these differences, the Pollock Ancient tartan has remained a staple, cherished for its legacy. The clan is currently armigerous, lacking a chief but still celebrating its history through its tartan.
