Historical Context
The Nova Scotia Tartan serves as a vibrant emblem of the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, whose name translates to "New Scotland." The tartan's origins can be traced back to 1953, when Mrs. Douglas Murray, President of the Halifax N.S. Weavers Guild, designed it as a backdrop for a farming exhibition. It holds the distinction of being the first officially recognized Canadian provincial tartan, receiving approval from the Lieutenant Governor in Council in September 1955. Notably, it was also the first tartan recorded by the Court of Lord Lyon, marking a significant moment in Canadian and Scottish heritage.

Who do we use to deliver your order?
Our back office systems are fully integrated with DHL and FEDEX which means that the second your parcel is dispatched you will be sent an email containing your tracking details. this allows both you and us to track your parcel's every move from our door to yours!
