Historical Significance
The Fraser Old Tartan, a distinctive emblem of Scottish heritage, encapsulates the essence of the Fraser clan, whose origins trace back to the rugged Highlands of Scotland. This tartan, classified as "Old Modern," merges traditional motifs with contemporary flair, appealing to both history enthusiasts and modern fashion aficionados. The Fraser clan has a rich lineage, known for its contributions to Scottish history, including notable figures such as Simon Fraser, a key player during the Jacobite risings. As clans often used tartans to signify their identity, the Fraser tartan stands out due to its unique design and the exclusivity of its recognition among various branches of the clan. In essence, this tartan embodies a vibrant narrative woven into the fabric of Scotland's storied past.
Color Scheme & Pattern
The color scheme of this tartan features a vibrant blend of bright red, deep green, and rich brown, accented with dark navy blue lines, creating a bold and striking pattern. The interplay of these vivid colors forms a dynamic and traditional design that reflects both strength and heritage. Crafted from 100% acrylic wool, the tartan ensures durability and comfort, making it an ideal choice for both formal and casual occasions.
