Nesbitt Tartan

First mentioned in the 12th century, the Nisbets appear to have taken their name from the old Barony of Nesbit, in Edrom Parish, in Berwickshire. They appear to have remained in the Border counties for several generations, but later some Nisbets were in other parts of Scotland. Nesbitt Tartan features are red contrast with dark green color bands on two adjacent lines of white.
