Historical Context
Clan MacLachlan is one of the ancient Scottish clans, historically situated in Old Castle Lachlan in Argyll and Bute, near Loch Fyne. The MacLachlan family is believed to have constructed this castle in the 15th century. In 1745, the Clan MacLachlan Chief supported Bonnie Prince Charlie's army during the Jacobite Rebellion and the Battle of Culloden. Tragically, the chief lost his life during this battle, leaving the castle vulnerable. This rich history underlines the significance of the MacLachlan tartan, which has become a symbol of Scottish heritage and pride.

Custom Weave tartans are woven to order, the tartan weaving process taking approximately 4-5 weeks.
